“A tree in architecture’ – scientific conference

From 18-18 November 2016 in Kraków, an international conference A Tree in architecture will take place. The organizers are the Polish Academy of Sciences, University of Technology in Kraków (Department of Architecture, Institute of Building Design), as well as the Association of Polish Architects. The aim of the conference is to present the research on the tradition and history of building out of wood, as well as to show the current trends in using wood – mainly within constructions – in the contemporary architecture.
