Members of Ruska Bursa met with the officials from the minorities department, Ministry of Interior and Administration

On 13 December 2016, members of the Ruska Bursa Association board and LEM.fm media group met with representatives of Ministry of Interior and Administration Department for Denominations and National and Ethnic Minorities in Warsaw.

Ruska Bursa and LEM.fm were represented by: Paweł Małecki – Chairman of the Ruska Bursa Board, Damian Trochanowski – Vice Chairman/ Managing Editor of LEM.fm+ PanRusyn weekly,  Bogdan Gambal – Treasurer of RB/ Managing Editor of LEM.fm radio. The Ministry was represented by: Józef Różański – Director of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Department for Denominations and National and Ethnic Minorities – representative of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Andrzej Marciniak – Governor of the Department for National and Ethnic Minorities, Agnieszka Achtabowska and Katarzyna Jaworska-Pulchny – specialists in the Department for National and Ethnic Minorities.

The meeting was to present the current problems that RB is dealing with, especially those connected to the attitudes towards other national groups in Poland. Attention was paid  to pathological phenomena of the grant system, also several possible solutions were presented. An important point of the talks was the issue of development and maintenance of Lemko language on a proper level.
