At the end of February 2017, the recent edition of “Besida” – the magazine of Lemko Association- was published (No 1 (154), January-February 2017), there you can find among others:

Apart from the mentioned articles, the recent “Besia” includes also a list of the most important events in Lemkovyna, as well as from the outside, from November-December 2016. As always, the magazine brings a dose of texts from other press, Polish or Slovak. At the end of the magazine you can find an appeal to the inhabitants of Konieczna who plan to organize a meeting of the inhabitants in the summer 2017 (we wrote about it more on lem.fm website). The “Vydavnycha polychka” (Publishing shelf) presents the reviews of the last book by Antoni Kroh – Behind that mountain, the Ruska Bursa Yearbook 2016 and the Lemko Yearbook (published by the LA).
“Besida” bimonthly is a magazine of the Main Board of the Lemko Association, it has been published since 1989, it is dedicated to protection of history, culture and language of Lemkos, it informs on the life of our society and the befriended societies, it faithfully cares for the hopes of our great-grandparents and fathers.
“Besida” is available in the Ruska Bursa library in Gorlice. It is opened on Mondays from 2PM-6PM or after individual appointment. The magazine is also available in the local Circles of the Lemko Association in Poland.
